Exciting young midfielder Jack Ough will make a handy addition to the GIANTS’ VFL side as it strives to secure a finals berth for 2026.
Ough, the AFL outfit’s travelling emergency last week in Canberra, was terrific in a lengthy stint of Smithy’s VFL action earlier this year, eventually earning the young midfielder an AFL debut against the Dockers.
Accompanying Ough on the inclusions list is fellow AFL-listed GIANT Harry Oliver, who returns from an adductor injury, and VFL-listed pair Nick Kelly and Ethan Roberts.
Cody Angove and Toby McMullin depart the VFL side after being selected in the AFL team, while Taine Moraschi and Riley Dillon have been omitted.
A win over Tasmania this Sunday will secure the eighth-placed GIANTS at least a Wildcard fixture next weekend, while a loss leaves their fate in the hands of other results.
