The GIANTS will soon ramp up their pre-season preparations with a huge away clash with Collingwood.
The GIANTS will head south to take on the Magpies at La Trobe University in the Melbourne suburb of Bundoora on Friday, February 20 at 11am.
The meeting between the GIANTS and the Pies will be the first pre-season clash for both sides as preparations intensify ahead of a huge 2026 AFL season starting in March.
Similar to previous years, the upcoming pre-season hit-out between the orange and charcoal and the black and white will be a match simulation, meaning the two clubs will work together to dictate the conditions of the clash, with the sides to agree beforehand on the number of players used, the game length, and the number of breaks.
Information on how to attend and watch the game will be confirmed in due course.
Following their match simulation with the Pies, the GIANTS will be back in action just six days later, with the Sydny Derby to take centre stage in the 2026 AAMI Community Series as the GIANTS and the Swans clash at Henson Park on Thursday, February 26.
That fixture will be the first time ever that the crosstown rivals have met in an AFL clash at Marrickville’s Henson Park.
