Superstar GIANTS midfielder Alyce Parker has been rewarded for her stellar campaign with selection in the 2026 AFLW All-Australian squad.

Announced on Thursday afternoon, Parker takes her place as one of 42 players recognised as the very elite of the competition with inclusion in this year’s AFLW All-Australian squad.

Parker’s selection comes following a career-best season from the 26-year-old who bounced back from a year out of the game in eye-catching fashion.

Already a two-time All Australian following her selections in 2020 and 2021, Parking is aiming to collect her third blazer when the final team of 21 is announced at the W Awards on Monday, November 23 in the lead up to the NAB AFLW Grand Final.

Having missed almost the entirety of the 2025 season following a fractured foot suffered in the opening round of the year, Parker returned to the field with a vengeance in 2026, with the four-time club champion taking her game to new levels.

A contested bull, Parker’s strength in the contest and ability to win the footy in tight contests and shrug off opponents with ease, saw her consistently dominate games and re-establish herself as one of the league’s very best inside midfielders.

Her dominance saw Parker average 24.8 disposals, 15.3 contested possessions, 5.2 tackles, 6.8 clearances, and 388.2 metres gained, while hitting the scoreboard with seven goals across her 12 games.

Parker’s starring season saw her finish third across the entire competition for contested possessions, fifth for clearances, sixth for kicks, and just outside the top 10 for both disposals and metres gained.

Highlighting the incredible impact for her side this season, Parker led the GIANTS in total disposals, contested possessions, kicks, effective kicks, tackles, pressure acts, clearances, inside 50s, and groundball gets, while sitting fourth in goals kicked.

Parker’s 2026 season adds further to her glowing resume which has already seen her cement herself as one of the club’s best ever players ever since bursting onto the scene in 2019 where she earned a NAB AFLW Rising Star nomination in her AFLW debut in a sign of things to come.

Having already won a club record four Gabrielle Trainor Medals, Parker has given herself every chance to add another to the trophy cabinet at next week’s Gabreille Trainor Medal.

GIANTS Executive General Manager of AFLW, Alison Zell, said Parker’s selection in this year’s All-Australian squad was due recognition for a brilliant individual season.

“Alyce put together a remarkable year and it’s fantastic to see her recognised once again as one of the elite players in the competition,” Zell said.

“After missing last season with injury she worked tirelessly behind the scenes to prepare herself for this year and it was extremely pleasing to see that hard work pay off with a career-best season.

“As one of the leaders of our program we are incredibly proud of the way Alyce represents our club both on and off the field and we’re very privileged to have someone of her calibre helping the set the example for our young group.

“Knowing the person that Alyce is, it’s exciting to know that she’ll already be thinking of ways to get better next season in order to help us get the success we are all chasing.”
