The GIANTS and Netball NSW (NNSW) today announced the conclusion of their strategic partnership, following Netball NSW’s decision to privately sell its second Super Netball licence.

Since 2016, when NNSW secured its second licence, the GIANTS have played an instrumental role in establishing and elevating the GIANTS Netball brand.

Through the partnership, the GIANTS have provided vital support across branding, facilities, media and operations, helping to deliver a professional platform for elite netball in New South Wales.

The partnership has strengthened the sport’s profile, helped build a passionate fan base, and supported sustained high-performance outcomes.

Over the past 10 seasons, it has also driven significant results in brand development, audience engagement, commercial growth and community impact.

GIANTS Chief Executive Officer David Matthews said:

“We're incredibly proud of what we've achieved alongside Netball NSW over the past decade and the role we've played in building the GIANTS Netball brand and supporting the growth of elite women's sport.

"We support Netball NSW's process and decision and believe it's a positive step in ensuring the team has the resources and structure it needs for continued growth and long-term success.

“We thank Netball NSW for its partnership over the past decade and look forward to seeing the team continue to thrive in this next chapter for the benefit of the game and women's sport."

The GIANTS and Netball NSW will officially end their partnership on September 30.
