Daisy Walker and Georgia Garnett are both aiming to be available for round one, as they continue to recover from their respective pre-season injuries.
Garnett returns to team training this week with an intent to be ready for selection ahead of the AFLW season opener against the Eagles on Sunday, August 16 at ENGIE Stadium.
Walker is also poised for a round one appearance after being rested for both the club’s recent practice match and last weekend’s match simulation after picking up some minor bone bruising against the Suns.
Zarlie Goldsworthy also continues to make strides in the rehabilitation from a lower leg fracture.
Goldsworthy has progressed off crutches and is aiming for an early season return.
Kaitlyn Srhoj also continues to manage an illness which will sideline her for the near future.
After an ACL rupture which ruled her out of the 2026 NAB AFLW Season, Scarlett Johnson has undergone successful surgery and continues her rehabilitation with the team.
