The GIANTS have ended their 2025 campaign with the Orange Army at its biggest yet, with the club setting a new membership record of more than 37,000 members.

Reaching an official tally of 37,705 members at the AFL’s 2025 season membership cut-off date, the record feat sees the club continue to break new ground as it surpasses 37,000 members for the first time since the GIANTS’ introduction to the AFL just 14 years ago.

The GIANTS have now surpassed 30,000 members for the seventh straight season and set a new membership record for four straight years, an incredible achievement for the AFL’s youngest club.

One of the league’s most exciting teams, the GIANTS continue to forge an identity based on passion, diversity, inclusion, and a knack for doing things a little different.

The historic membership tally comes after another record-breaking year on and off the field for the GIANTS despite a heartbreaking end to their AFL campaign, with the club equalling their best-ever home and away season with 16 wins to remarkably make finals for the eighth time in the last 10 seasons.

Across the 2025 home and away season, over 99,000 people came through the gates at ENGIE Stadium, the second-highest home attendance in Sydney in club history.

GIANTS Chief Executive Officer, David Matthews, said the club’s latest membership record is another fantastic milestone for the AFL’s youngest club.

“To set a new all-time membership record again this year is a tremendous achievement and a reflection of the loyalty and passion of our supporters,” Matthews said.

“Breaking our membership record for a fourth consecutive season shows the strength of the GIANTS family and the direction we’re heading as a club. We’re incredibly grateful to every member for their unwavering commitment.”

“This year we’ve seen more orange in the stands than ever before, from Sydney to Canberra and across the country, our fan base continues to grow into one of the most passionate and proud in the competition.

“Our members are the lifeblood of the GIANTS, and we’re excited about what the future holds in 2026 and beyond as we continue to build both on and off the field.”

Matthews said the milestone comes at a time when the GIANTS’ AFLW program takes centre stage.

“With the AFL side now finished for the year, we now pour more of our energy into our AFLW side as they continue their campaign. We rally around them as they represent our club with pride and determination for the remainder of the season.

“Our thanks also go to Reflections Holidays, whose ongoing partnership plays such a vital role in helping us connect with our members and communities right across the region.
