KIDS ROUND

Join us for a GIANT Carnival at ENGIE Stadium as we celebrate Kids Round with loads of fun for all ages.

Come along and enjoy the Circus Play space where you can learn to do plate spinning, hula hooping, juggling, flower sticks, poi twirling and balance tight ropes!

The Stomping Ground will also be filled with GIANT inflatables, face painting, and your chance to take your photo at our GIANT Hero Moment, or pose for our caricature artist!

If you are roaming the concourse, you might run into our stilt walkers, GIANT bubble artists, roving magicians, and jugglers. Also make sure you are in your seats pre-game to hear from the Australian Girls Choir as they perform some classics.

MILESTONE

Emerging star Aaron Cadman will celebrate his 50th AFL game this Sunday when the GIANTS host the Suns at ENGIE Stadium. Taken with the number one pick in the 2022 AFL Draft, Cadman has quickly established himself as a key pillar in the GIANTS’ forward line and one of the league’s most exciting young forwards. Still just 21 years old, Cadman’s 50th AFL game comes off the back of a breakout performance against the Lions last week, with Cadman setting new career highs across the board, registering 19 disposals, 13 marks, and five goals in a brilliant display up forward. Cadman’s commitment to the club was underlined by a two-year contract extension signed last year, keeping him in orange and charcoal until at least the end of 2026.

Make a big big sound in our GIANTS Stomping Ground that will take your game day experience to another level. Located next to the scoreboard inside ENGIE Stadium, there’ll be inflatables, ¼ time meet and greet with GIANTS players* (subject to availability), face painting, giveaways and an opportunity to write to your favourite GIANTS. The GIANTS Stomping Ground will also host our Kids Circus Play Space along with a caricature artist, sure to create hilarious family memories! Plus, make sure you collect your own Kids Round specific GIANTS Giveaways.

The fun and laughs start the moment you walk in at the GIANTS’ Kids Round clash. 

With a GIANT marching band, circus performers, exciting partner activations and our First Timers Marquee – there’s so much to enjoy, and that’s just the beginning!

Head over to the Stomping Ground beneath the big screen for even more entertainment: circus play space, kids' round giveaways, our GIANT Hero Moment, free face painting, and a chance to strike a pose with our caricature artist!

Just before the match kicks off, enjoy a special performance from the Australian Girls Choir.

Then, here come the GIANTS!

The team will be joined by our GIANTS Recruits – our youngest and loudest supporters – all wearing their Darcy Jones helmets!

The fun doesn’t stop during the breaks either, with your chance to win at quarter-time and three-quarter time, thanks to our partners Harvey Norman and Toyo Tyres, respectively.

Cheer on your mates and spot your local club as we celebrate grassroots footy with Clubs March, inviting local football clubs to join us on the turf at ENGIE Stadium.

Fans are encouraged to plan their trip and consider all the available travel options ahead of time for all GIANTS games.   

If you’re driving on Saturday, consider pre-booking your parking online, available until 11:59pm the night before the game. The best parking for ENGIE Stadium is in the P1 and P6 car parks.

A GIANT DAY OUT

Prior to the game against the Suns, A GIANT Day Out is set to take over Olympic Park on Sunday, June 22 - in a day dedicated to celebrating the next generation of footy stars and fans! The fun kicks off with A GIANT Showdown – a junior footy carnival at GIANTS HQ for Under 9s and Under 10s from Western Sydney, before they make their way to the game together. Just next door at Cathy Freeman Park, A GIANT Kick will see Auskickers from across the region take part in an action-packed skills clinic. Then, at half-time of the game against the Suns, the spotlight will shine on our local clubs during A GIANT March, where junior players will proudly represent their teams in a special on-field parade. With plenty of kids activities, giveaways, and footy action – this is a day not to be missed for families and young GIANTS fans!

TEAM SELECTION   

The GIANTS will name their squad to take on the Suns at 6:20pm on Thursday at gwsgiants.com.au and then the final team of 23 on Friday at 5pm.

The GIANTS will also name their VFL team on Friday at 5pm at gwsgiants.com.au.    

BROADCAST

The GIANTS’ clash with the Suns will be shown live and free in NSW and the ACT on 7Mate and 7plus from 1pm, as well as nationally on Fox Sports 3 and Kayo from 1pm.
