Young gun Finn Callaghan is on track to return for the GIANTS' crucial clash against the Lions this Saturday.
Callaghan dislocated his shoulder in the round 10 loss to the Dockers and has recovered rapidly and is now a chance to play in Saturday’s match at the Gabba.
The 22-year-old trained fully on Tuesday morning and will face one final fitness test in Thursday’s main training.
Captain Toby Greene and defender Leek Aleer will both also be a test for this weekend.
Greene was subbed out of Saturday’s game with a corked glute, while Aleer pulled up sore after several heavy contested collisions.
Jake Stringer is steadily approaching the end of his rehabilitation from a hamstring injury, with the dynamic forward now training fully.
Vice-captain Stephen Coniglio will increase his speed and modified team training following a successful running session last week.
Meanwhile, youngster Cody Angove will miss the remainder of the season, with scans revealing the teenager has stress fractures in his back.
The GIANTS will take on the Lions at the Gabba on Saturday afternoon, with the VFL side set to also take on the Lions in Brisbane on Sunday.
