2020 in a nutshell: The best season in club history finished in heartbreaking fashion with a three-point loss to Melbourne in a semi-final. It shouldn't detract from an outstanding campaign though in which the Giants won four of their six games to finish second in Conference A.

Player to watch: Rebecca Privitelli went from defence to attack in 2020 and turned heads. She is a high-flying contested marker that can kick goals or crash packs and provide opportunities for her forward line teammates.

2021 prediction: With minimal changes to last season's successful team, there's no reason why the Giants won't be right near the pointy end again.
