Recruiting Manager Adrian Caruso has joined the Road to the Draft Podcast to discuss how the club has navigated a year like 2020 ahead of December's NAB AFL Draft.

There is plenty to play out in the weeks to come before Caruso and his recruiting team can get a clear picture of what picks they'll take into the Draft.

The free-agency and trade periods next month will have the GIANTS heavily involved in player movement with the likes of Zac Williams, Aidan Corr and Jackson Hately likely to be on the move.

There has also been plenty of talk about the futures of Jeremy Cameron, Jye Caldwell and Xavier O'Halloran with Caruso saying the trio were all in constant discussions with football and list manager Jason McCartney, who handles the club's contracts.

"We know those players are all going through a challenging time trying to decide on their futures and we understand the uniqueness of this year. It's something as a club we've had to deal with over the past few years, so it's not something that's uncommon to us," he said.

"From my point of view as recruiting manager and as a recruiting team we're just heavily focused on the draft and trying to gather as much information as we can on the kids we're going to be picking."

Three players who won't be on the move are Jack Buckley, Harry Perryman and Jeremy Finlayson who all recently put pen to paper on new contracts.

AFL Free Agency commences on October 30 with the Trade Period running from November 4 to 12.

The Draft will be held in the week of December 7.
