An unchanged GIANTS squad has been selected ahead of their round 12 match against the Gold Coast Suns, the final fixture of the 2026 NAB AFLW season.

In a Sunday afternoon clash at Henson Park, the Giants will celebrate two outgoing stars of both the club and the game, with Alicia Eva and Isabel Huntington playing their final match at AFLW level, having each announced their retirement from the sport.

Cam Bernasconi has backed in the squad that tested the Blues in trying conditions last Sunday in Melbourne.

The GIANTS will look to enjoy a sunnier outlook as they hope to pack out the Henson Park hill, with fans and members encouraged to show up in force as the club acknowledges the impact of both Eva and Huntington.

Eva retires a legend of the sport, having played 90 games to date and being a mentor and leader across the league, including as GIANTS captain from 2020-2023.

Huntington also ends her playing career as one of the best-loved characters of AFLW, whose impact on the game extends far beyond her 60 matches.

With plenty to play for, against a young Suns side who shape as a benchmark of the competition’s standards with their Academy talent, Sunday’s clash is an unmissable affair.

The GIANTS will name their final team to take on the Suns on Friday at 5pm, ahead of their last game at Henson Park this Sunday, November 1 at 12:35pm.Â
