GIANTS forward Jeremy Cameron has played a starring role in Channel 7 winning the Grant Hattam Trophy for Excellence in Sports Journalism.
The Grant Hattam Trophy is the AFL Players Association’s Top Journalism Prize and was presented to Channel 7 for their #DISCOVERED piece that focused on Cameron’s life away from football.
The 20-year old invited Channel 7 to Dartmoor in South West Victoria earlier this year for a day of fishing and shooting in the town where he grew up before embarking on his AFL career in Western Sydney.
Cameron has had a year to remember, kicking 62 goals, winning the Sheedy Medal as the GIANTS Club Champion and could be named in the All-Australian team when it’s announced on Monday.
