Perryman debut

It’s a night Harry Perryman will never forgot. For many reasons.

It’s not often that an AFL debutant has a hand in deciding the result of a match but that’s what happened to Perryman on May 20, 2017.

Spoiler alert – but the laid back country kid got a finger tip to a Richmond (attempted) goal in the final minutes that would have given the Tigers victory before the GIANTS took it end to end to secure a three point win.

This Saturday, Perryman and all GIANTS fans will have the opportunity to re-live the amazing finish to the thriller against Richmond as part of the Rewatchables series.

If it wasn’t for the pause in play on the 2020 AFL season, the GIANTS would have been heading to the MCG for a Grand Final rematch against the Tigers this weekend.

We try and forget about that day last September so instead we’re taking a trip down memory lane to a more enjoyable game against Richmond.

GIANTS fans are encouraged to watch the 2017 classic along with fellow GIANTS through the AFL Live Pass or via Kayo at 3pm this Friday and follow the game through Twitter like it’s happening for the very first time.

Laid back wingman Harry Perryman will then join the GIANTS media team from his farm in Collingullie to unpack the memorable night that victory was clutched from the jaws of defeat at GIANTS Stadium. The podcast will be available that same evening.

Don't forget, GIANTS members were sent a special discount code for Kayo Sports via email last month.

If you’re looking for another footy fix before Saturday, why don’t you catch up on previous Rewatchables as the GIANTS reflect on some famous victories from the recent years.

Log on from 3pm this Saturday for this week’s Rewatchables. We’ll see you there!
