Tasmanian utility Claire Ransom returns to the GIANTS’ side for the first time in 2025, having continuously impressed at AFLW scrimmage throughout the season. 

Ransom played nine matches across the 2024 season but has struggled to break into Cam Bernasconi’s side this year, with the addition of more experienced players to the list. 

Adding plenty of dash and running power, Ransom’s pace out of the middle provides the GIANTS some additional speed and versatility, with her ability to play as both an inside and outside midfielder.  

Ransom comes into the side at the expense of fellow former Sun Viv Saad.   

The GIANTS will play their final match of the year against the Power at Henson Park at 3:05pm on Saturday.
