Zarlie Goldsworthy, Kaitlyn Srhoj, and Maddie Brazendale have all been recognised among the best young talent in the AFLW with selection in the 2025 AFL Players’ Association 22Under22 Squad, presented by Intrepid.
Consisting of 44 of the AFLW’s best young stars, Thursday’s squad will be trimmed to a final team of 22 to be announced on Wednesday, November 12.
Selected each year, the annual honour recognises the competition’s best 22 players aged 22 and under across each AFLW season.
Brazendale, Goldsworthy and Srhoj have been rewarded with selection in the 22under22 squad after each have enjoyed standout seasons for the GIANTS, with the trio continuing to build on their impressive careers and proving to be key pieces of the GIANTS’ exciting future.
Goldsworthy is no stranger to the 22under22 honour, having made the final team in the last two seasons, while Srhoj and Brazendale have been selected in the squad for the first time.
The final 22under22 side is fan-voted, giving fans a chance to vote their favourite players into the team.
