Registrations are now open for players born 2010, 2009, and 2008 to officially trial for the GIANTS Academy for Season 2026 in the U16-U18 age groups.

Western Sydney: Monday, November 3 from 5pm-7pm * (see below)
ACT: Tuesday, November 4 from 5pm-7pm
Riverina: Wednesday, November 5 from 5pm-7pm

Players born in 2011 who are currently not in the GIANTS program are also able to register to trial for our 2026 U15 Program. Noting that these trials will be held in late Jan/early Feb 2026 in Sydney, Canberra and Wagga Wagga, with final dates, venues and times TBC.  Registered participants will be updated later in the year.

Academy staff are on the lookout for players possessing combinations of endurance, speed and agility, power and clean skills in kicking, hands, and contest.

The trials will consist of a time trial (2km for boys, 1.6km for girls), skill and contest drills, and match play. Coaches and staff will be assessing all afore mentioned attributes throughout the trials.

*Players residing outside the GIANTS Academy zone can attend, however please note that it is more unlikely than likely you will be offered an invite post the trial.

Full and final information will be sent directly to registered participants closer to the events.  Only registered participants will be eligible to trial. There is a $20 non-refundable charge to register for the trial to cover costs including venue, staffing and equipment.
