The GIANTS have made three changes to their side set to take on the Bombers at Marvel Stadium on Thursday night.

Playing in their first Thursday night fixture at Marvel Stadium since 2019, the GIANTS will welcome back vice-captain Stephen Coniglio for the occasion.

Coniglio returns to the senior side for the first time since round three, after managing a unique glute injury that sidelined him for 13 weeks.

The exciting midfielder has spent the last two weeks in the club’s VFL side and is eager to make his return and contribute towards the GIANTS’ September surge.

Fellow midfielder Toby McMullin also comes into the side on the back of consistent VFL form, highlighted by a standout performance two weeks ago, in which he recorded 17 disposals, 13 tackles, six clearances, and two goals.

The 20-year-old, now in his third season, will play his eighth game of the year after featuring in the side from rounds five through 13.

Also included for Thursday night’s clash is key forward Max Gruzewski.

The 192cm forward has been in impressive form in the VFL, regularly hitting the scoreboard. He currently sits fifth for total goals across the competition and returns to Adam Kingsley’s side for the second time in three weeks.

The trio enters the side in place of star duo Jesse Hogan and Josh Kelly who have both been managed, as well as youngster Harvey Thomas who has been omitted.

The GIANTS will take to primetime footy this Thursday night, when they take on the Bombers at Marvel Stadium.
