Talented young AFL duo Harvey Thomas and James Leake headline six changes for the GIANTS’ VFL clash with the Bombers at Windy Hill on Friday afternoon.

Thomas enters the side for his third VFL game of the season and his first since round three after playing 13 AFL games so far this season, while Leake returns for his 10th VFL game of the year after sitting out last week as the standby AFL emergency.

The talented youngsters are two of 10 AFL-listed GIANTS who will feature in Friday’s meeting with the Bombers.

Also entering this week’s side is GIANTS Academy teenager Ethan Matthews, as well as Noah Bradshaw, Taine Moraschi, and Mitchell Blow.

Meanwhile, exiting from last week’s VFL team is Stephen Coniglio, Toby McMullin and Max Gruzewski who have been recalled to the AFL side, as well as Jace McQuade, Liam McCarthy, and Alex Swinnerton who have been omitted.

Currently sitting fourth (9-5) on the VFL table, the GIANTS will be hoping they can take down the Bombers (18th, 3-10) on Friday as they continue their VFL finals push with just five rounds remaining.

Friday’s clash will get under way at 2:05pm at Windy Hill.
