Dynamic forward Jake Stringer is one of three notable inclusions for this Sunday’s top eight clash with the Suns at ENGIE Stadium.
The high-profile recruit and experienced campaigner will return for Sunday’s unofficial Expansion Cup, marking just his eighth game in the orange and charcoal after joining the GIANTS in the off-season.
Following a delayed club debut in round 3, the 31-year-old was building strong momentum, showcasing his dynamic forward craft and ability to impact games off the prior to injuring his hamstring in the round nine win over the Cats at GMHBA Stadium.
Also bolstering Adam Kingsley’s this week is the return of skipper Toby Greene.
Greene missed last week’s win over the Lions with a corked glute but has proved his fitness and is ready to return.
Meanwhile, utility Ryan Angwin will return for his AFL first game since round 15, 2024.
The 22-year-old was one of the stand outs on the track this pre-season before a syndesmosis injury delayed the start of his 2025 campaign.
Returning through the VFL in round four, Angwin has consistently been among the best, averaging 17.7 disposals, 8.8 handballs and 3.7 tackles to earn his long-awaited return to the AFL.
The trio enter the side in place of injured duo Brent Daniels and Sam Taylor, as well as draftee Josaia Delana (omitted).
The GIANTS will host the Suns at ENGIE Stadium this Sunday, with the action kicking off at 1:10pm.
