A host of exciting home games in both Sydney and Canberra headline the GIANTS’ fixture for the 2027 AFL season – which includes the highly-anticipated return to ENGIE Stadium for a former son, an ANZAC Day showdown, as well as a huge early-season Derby under lights at the SCG.

The GIANTS will kickstart their 2027 campaign in the City of Churches as they face the Crows at Adelaide Oval on Saturday, March 20.

In round two the GIANTS will clash with the Eagles at Corroboree Group Oval, Manuka on an Easter Saturday afternoon in the first of three exciting games in the nation’s capital in 2027. The early-season matchup will be the first time the Eagles have played in Canberra since 2006.

All eyes will turn to the Harbour City in round three as the GIANTS and the Swans battle it out for bragging rights on a Friday night at the SCG in Sydney Derby XXXIV. The Battle of the Bridge will be a fantastic opportunity for the Orange Army early in the season to enter enemy territory and cheer the GIANTS on against the Swans.

All roads lead to South Australia for Gather Round in round four where the GIANTS and the Suns will fight it out for the Expansion Cup in the Barossa.

Round five sees the GIANTS hit the road again to take on the three-time reigning premiers, the Lions, at the Gabba – a venue that the GIANTS have won their last two encounters at.

In round six the GIANTS will feature in a special ANZAC Day clash in Canberra in an exciting meeting with fierce rival, the Western Bulldogs, as both sides pay their respects to those who have served and continue to serve our country. Always one of the biggest days on the footy calendar, the special ANZAC Day fixture will be one not to miss.

In round seven the eyes of the footy world will turn to ENGIE Stadium for one of the most anticipated games of the season, with the GIANTS set to host former captain Toby Greene and the Cats. It’ll mark the first time the former captain will face off against his former side wearing his new colours.

No doubt another thriller is in store in round eight when the orange tsunami rolls into Launceston for a clash with the Hawks at UTAS Stadium. A regular fixture which always promises to be a close encounter.

After returning from the Apple Isle the GIANTS will host another huge home game in round nine as they welcome last year’s grand finalists to town, with the Dockers to descend on ENGIE Stadium for an exciting Saturday afternoon clash.

The first of five trips to Melbourne doesn’t come until round 10 when the GIANTS face off with the Saints at Marvel Stadium before another huge home game awaits in round 11 as the GIANTS look to shoot down the visiting Bombers at ENGIE Stadium.

After a bye in round 12, Adam Kingsley’s side will look to tame the Tigers at Marvel in round 13 before returning home to ENGIE Stadium for a huge Expansion Cup clash with the Suns on a Sunday afternoon in round 14.

An electric matchup awaits the nation’s capital in round 15, with the GIANTS hosting the Power in the Sunday twilight timeslot.

Round 16, the final fully confirmed fixture released on Thursday, will see the GIANTS head to Melbourne’s home of football, taking on the Pies in a huge Saturday twilight clash at the MCG.

Another exciting encounter with a Victorian powerhouse will come in round 17, with the GIANTS hosting a huge matchup with the Blues at ENGIE Stadium, with the date and time to be confirmed at a later date by the AFL as part of the floating fixture.

In round 18 a second meeting with the Bombers awaits, this time at Marvel, before the GIANTS return home to ENGIE Stadium to host Max Gawn’s Demons in round 19.

The GIANTS hit the road again in round 20 where they’ll give the community of Ballarat a spectacle when they face off in a grudge match with the Bulldogs for a second time in the season.

The GIANTS return home in round 21 where the Orange Army will welcome the Kangaroos to Sydney for a stoush at ENGIE Stadium.

After the trip west to face the Dockers at Optus Stadium, the Harbour City takes centre stage in round 23 for the highly anticipated Sydney Derby XXXV, with the GIANTS hosting the crosstown rival at ENGIE Stadium.

The GIANTS will round out their home and away season with a trip to Melbourne to take on the Blues at Marvel Stadium.
