GIANTS star Alyce Parker has been named in the AFL Players' Association's 22under22 team for a third consecutive season.

Parker was the only GIANT named in the team, which recognises the best players in the competition aged 22 or under, with the initial 40-woman squad refined to a fan-voted team of 22 after a week-long voting period.

Drafted ahead of the 2019 season, Parker was nominated for the NAB AFLW Rising Star award in her first game and won the GIANTS' Rising Star award in her first season.

The midfielder had a breakout 2020 season in just her second year, named All Australian and taking home the club's Gabrielle Trainor Medal as Club Champion.

At just 21, Parker became the club’s first dual All Australian and dual winner of the Gabrielle Trainor Medal when she took home the awards for a second time in 2021.

Parker averaged 19 disposals a game in 2022, also averaging 4.9 clearances and 4.9 tackles to further enhance her reputation as one of the best young midfielders in the competition.
