Experienced coach Craig Jennings will join the GIANTS full-time as an Assistant Coach, in charge of the backline.

Jennings joined the club in the most recent off-season as a part-time Opposition and Strategy Coach and will move into the full-time coaching role following the departure of Adam Schneider.

GIANTS General Manager of Football Jason McCartney welcomed Jennings to the club full-time.

“We were really excited to secure Craig in a part-time role this off-season and are now thrilled we can turn that into a more involved position,” McCartney said.

“He brings a wealth of experience to the role and will be a valuable addition to our coaching staff.

“Our coaching staff for the 2022 season are now set and we’re all looking forward to resuming when the AFL program starts again on January 10.”

Jennings has more than 20 years’ experience in the industry in opposition analysis and strategy.

He has previously worked at Essendon, the Western Bulldogs and Melbourne.

Jennings recently completed the Level 4 AFL Coaching program and will relocate to Sydney in the coming weeks.
