The GIANTS have named a 26-player squad for Sunday’s AAMI Community Series match against the Swans at GIANTS Stadium.
Local Western Sydney product Kieren Briggs will take the ruck duties after Matt Flynn was ruled out with an ankle sprain. Flynn will be a test for next week’s intra-club match.
Connor Idun and Isaac Cumming will feature in a new-look backline while Jake Riccardi and Harry Himmelberg will play in a two-pronged attack.
Draftee Tanner Bruhn is also included in the squad.
Key defender Phil Davis will play three quarters in the Reserves’ practice match, also against the Swans, earlier in the day as he returns to full fitness following knee surgery.
The GIANTS will take on the Swans on Sunday at GIANTS Stadium in the final tune-up before round one at GIANTS Stadium against St Kilda on March 21.
