On the back of the AFL’s historic National Women’s League announcement on Wednesday, there’s never been a better time to play football.

The GIANTS are one of eight AFL clubs to field a team in the inaugural season of the NWL and will be the only team representing NSW and the ACT.

With the NWL set to get underway in February 2017, now is the perfect time to join one of the many women’s teams across the region.

Girls from as young as five can play Auskick, while there are a number of Junior, Youth and Open women’s competitions ready to welcome new players.

The Auburn GIANTS are one of 16 clubs competing in the two-tiered AFL Sydney competition and after a horrible run of injuries are seeking players between ages 15-18 to play in their under 18s side.

With their next match fast approaching on the 26th of June, the Auburn GIANTS are calling on any girls interested in playing Football to get in contact.
