“Both (are) ready to go,” GIANTS General Manager of Football Wayne Campbell said.

"(He) probably could have played last week, it was only really minor. Both of them so they have trained fully for a week or so and are ready to go.”

Veteran Brett Deledio is available for selection following a calf injury sustained in the round 21 loss to the Hawks.

“He’s available to play,” Campbell said.

“He will need to train tomorrow, we always put that caveat on it, but he’s come up really well.

“It was only a really minor one, as he said on the night he could have kept playing.

“He’s done his rehab really diligently, he’s gone through that before so he knows what to do but he’ll be available for selection as well.”

All eyes this week will be on Nick Haynes, who suffered a fractured cricoid (throat) the last time the GIANTS faced the Bulldogs in round 22.

“Nick’s progressing pretty nicely,” Campbell said.

"He’s seen the specialist a couple of times and he’s ticked him off to get into some more training and a bit of contact work.

“He did a little bit today, this morning, but will need to train full tomorrow in our main session.

“If he gets through that and does the contact and the doctors rule him in, then he’ll be available to play.

“There’s a little bit to go but pretty positive at this stage.”

The GIANTS’ side to take on the Bulldogs in the Elimination Final will be named at 6:20pm on Thursday, with the huge clash to start at 3:20pm on Saturday at GIANTS Stadium.
