The GIANTS have added draftee Sophia Gaukrodger, livewire Tay Levy and reliable defender Daisy Walker to an extended squad for Sunday’s Sydney Derby V.

Highly familiar with Henson Park, having played junior football with her local side the Inner West Magpies, Gaukrodger would make her NAB AFLW debut if called into Cam Bernasconi’s side for round five.

Walker has featured twice at AFLW level this season, while Levy is yet to break into the side but poses significant threats on both the wing and half-forward flank if selected.

Levy played nine games for the GIANTS in 2025 and scored three goals, including one against the Swans in the thrilling round six win that sees the orange and charcoal take bragging rights into this Sunday's game.

The Derby will be a showcase of state-developed talent, with the GIANTS boasting 11 players who were drafted from NSW and the ACT.

The GIANTS will name their final 21-player team on Friday at 5:00pm to take on the Swans this Sunday, September 13 at Henson Park, Marrickville.
