Five GIANTS have been added to the extended squad for this Sunday’s crucial clash with the Eagles at ENGIE Stadium.
Cody Angove, Jack Ough, Toby McMullin, Jake Riccardi and Conor Stone are the five inclusions added to the extended squad.
Of the five additions, Angove is the only player yet to feature at AFL level this season.
Ough will be looking to return to Adam Kingsley’s side this week after serving as the club’s travelling emergency in Canberra last week, while the most experienced of the inclusions – Riccardi – will be looking to return after two weeks in the VFL following ankle surgery in May.
The GIANTS will be forced to make at least two changes to their ream for round 23, with Jayden Laverde (lung) and Xavier O’Halloran (hamstring) unavailable through injury.
The GIANTS will name their final team of 23 for this weekend’s historic AFL-AFLW double-header at 5pm on Friday.
This Sunday’s clash will also mark the final game at ENGIE Stadium for the 2026 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.
