The GIANTS have made three changes for Saturday’s crucial clash with the Cats, with Jayden Laverde, Phoenix Gothard, and Xavier O’Halloran returning to the side.

Laverde, who has been one of the recruits of the season after joining the GIANTS from the Bombers in the summer, regains his place in Adam Kingsley’s team after missing the last two games with a hamstring injury.

Gothard will also look to continue his impressive 2026 campaign on Saturday against Geelong after being managed last week.

Meanwhile O’Halloran will take on the Cats after fully recovering from a syndesmosis injury which sidelined him for two months.

The returning trio come into the side for Lachie Whitfield (concussion), Conor Stone and Joey Delana (omitted).

Following last week’s statement win over the Dockers in Canberra, the GIANTS will be aiming for back-to-back scalps against two of the league’s best sides when they welcome the Cats to ENGIE Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

As well as serving as the club’s dedicated Kids Round game, Saturday’s contest will also shine a spotlight on EB Research Partnership, a not-for-profit aimed at funding research to treat and ultimately cure Epidermolysis Bullosa.
