The GIANTS have informed Jesse Hogan that he won’t be offered a contract for season 2027.
Hogan arrived at the GIANTS following a trade with the Dockers ahead of the 2021 season.
Across his six seasons representing the orange and charcoal, Hogan played 100 games and kicked 239 goals.
His time at the GIANTS was headlined by a standout 2024 campaign, where he claimed the Coleman Medal, earned All-Australian selection and was crowned the club champion, as the Kevin Sheedy Medallist.
GIANTS Executive General Manager of Football, Jason McCartney thanked Hogan for his six years of service to the club.
“Jesse has made a significant contribution to the GIANTS over the past six seasons, and we’re incredibly grateful for everything he has brought to our football club,” McCartney said.
“We’ve seen Jesse at his best in the orange and charcoal and know what he’s capable of when he’s able to play with consistency.
“However, as we look ahead, we believe this is the right time for Jesse to pursue a new opportunity while we continue to shape our forward line for the years ahead.
“Again, we’re thankful for everything he gave our club and we wish all the best with what comes next.”
