While the AFL side will take on the Dockers in a huge game at Corroboree Group Oval, Manuka on Saturday, the club’s AFLW program will take part in a three-day AFLW community camp beginning on Thursday.

As part of the big weekend, the GIANTS will host a special Canberra Fan Day which will feature open training sessions featuring both of the club’s programs as well as the opportunity for fans to enjoy a rare joint AFL-AFLW signing session.

Fans can RSVP their attendance for Friday’s Fan Day here to go in the draw to win a signed 2026 GIANTS AFL jumper.

As part of the three-day AFLW camp, the GIANTS’ AFLW program will also host a special AFLW Super Clinic on Thursday, July 2 at Canberra Futsal Centre from 5pm – 6pm.

Working alongside AFL NSW/ACT, the clinic will provide local junior girls the opportunity to learn from their AFLW heroes, with the evening featuring a skills session, player meet and greet, signing and photo opportunities, an umpire come and try session and a variety of fan activations.

With girls of all skill levels encouraged to attend, the AFLW Super Clinic will be a celebration of women’s football and provide the next generation of players with the chance to get involved in the game.

Registrations for the AFLW Super Clinic are now at full capacity, please contact AFL Canberra for more information.

The GIANTS will continue to engage with the community on Friday morning, with the full AFLW squad visiting schools across Canberra to promote playing footy and aiming to inspire more girls to pick up a Sherrin ahead of the 2026 AFLW season.

The Orange Army will then have the chance to get up close with the GIANTS AFL and AFLW squads at the club’s Canberra Fan Day at Corroboree Group Oval, Manuka on Friday afternoon.

Held the day before the GIANTS take on Fremantle in a huge AFL clash in the nation’s capital, the Canberra Fan Day will provide supporters with the opportunity to watch both squads train before meeting their favourite players.

Featuring both the GIANTS AFL and AFLW playing squads, the Fan Day will include a range of activities and entertainment for the whole family, including giveaways, a DJ, face painting, arts and crafts, GIANTS inflatables and player signing sessions following training.

The event will give Canberra fans an exclusive opportunity to rub shoulders with the stars of both teams while celebrating the Orange Army and the strong connection between the GIANTS and the Canberra community.

The GIANTS Community Camp is another example of the club’s commitment to growing women’s football and building strong connections with local communities, with the club continuing to work alongside AFL NSW/ACT to create more opportunities for girls and women to be involved in the game.

The weekend will culminate with the GIANTS taking on Fremantle at Corroboree Group Oval on Saturday, July 4, with fans encouraged to get along and support the team in the nation’s capital.
