A trio of GIANTS stars could play their first game of the season when the GIANTS face off against the Tigers on Sunday in Gather Round.
Utility Toby Bedford, key forward Aaron Cadman, and small forward Brent Daniels could all line up in the Barossa provided they get through both training sessions this week.
Jack Buckley is also set to return to Adam Kingsley’s side, with the key defender successfully exiting concussion protocols last Saturday.
In other good news, young duo Finn Davis (groin) and Harry Oliver (lower leg) will return via a VFL practice match against the Swans this Saturday.
Sam Taylor had a strong week in rehab, with the key defender aiming to return in five weeks.
GIANTS Head of Medical, Andrew Ryan said:
“We’re thrilled to have Aaron, Brent and Toby back in the mix this week.
“Aaron’s injury was a bit unusual and took time to settle, but once it did, it was about rebuilding his conditioning and getting him back to his strong pre-season form before clearing him to play.
“Brent has also worked hard through an interrupted pre-season after surgery and a hamstring injury.
“We’ve taken a steady approach to build him back up, and he’s now in a good position to return.
“Toby’s has been a pretty straight forward recovery from his hamstring injury sustained in pre-season.”
The GIANTS will travel to Adelaide this week alongside the rest of the league for the 2026 edition of Gather Round.
