Johnson shifted from a key forward to half-back/wing role for the Knights ahead of her top-age year in a move that catapulted her into top-10 contention. 2025 has been a career-best season for Johnson, finishing the Coates Talent League season with averages of 23.8 disposals, 6.2 marks, 5.0 tackles, 3.4 inside 50s, 3.8 rebound 50s and seven goals in 12 matches.
