The GIANTS would like to thank and farewell the staff departing the football department following the end of the 2025 AFL Season.
Forwards coach Jeremy Laidler has opted not to renew his contract.
The former three-club player joined the club as an assistant coach ahead of the 2023 season to form part of Adam Kingsley’s new coaching structure.
Laidler has led an explosive forward line for the past three seasons which has seen the emergence of Aaron Cadman, the development of youngsters Darcy Jones and Harvey Thomas, as well as the resurgence of Jesse Hogan to become the club’s second-ever Coleman Medallist in 2024.
Opposition & Player Analyst, Jack Harvey, has also informed the club that he will not be seeking to renew his contract.
GIANTS Executive General of Manager Football, Jason McCartney, thanked both Laidler and Harvey for their contributions.
“Jeremy has made a significant impact during his time at the club,” McCartney said.
“He played a key role in building a dynamic forward group and was a great role model for our young forwards.
“We completely respect his decision to step away and wish him all the best for the future.”
“Jack has been a valued member of our football analysis team, and we thank him for his hard work over the past two seasons.”
The GIANTS thank Jeremy and Jack for their service and wish them all the best in their next chapters.
