The GIANTS have made one change for this Saturday’s finals-shaping clash with the Suns on the Gold Coast.

Winger Jacob Wehr will return to the side for round 23, coming in for Jake Stringer, who has been sidelined with a hamstring strain sustained during last weekend’s 54-point win over the Kangaroos.

Wehr will look to build on his 12 games this season, with his inclusion adding versatility and much-needed run on the wing as the team enters another must-win scenario.

The 27-year-old has been in strong VFL form, showcasing his endurance and ability to cover the ground.

Currently sitting in eighth spot as one of nine teams in the hunt for finals, the GIANTS could climb as high as fifth with a win over the Suns. A loss, however, could see them drop out of the top eight with just one round remaining.

The match will kickstart a huge day of GIANTS action, with the first bounce at 12:35pm on Saturday.
