AFL-listed trio Joe Fonti, Ryan Angwin and Nick Madden will bolster the GIANTS’ VFL side for its clash with the Lions in Brisbane on Sunday.
Fonti and Angwin return to the VFL following their AFL duties while Madden is set to play his first game at any level since May after recovering from ankle surgery following an injury sustained back in round nine of the VFL.
Madden will be hoping to continue what was a dominant VFL campaign before his injury, with the monster 204cm ruckman in career-best form prior to the lay-off.
The GIANTS’ VFL side will feature 13 AFL-listed GIANTS for the stoush with the third-placed Lions, with the clash to get underway on Sunday at 11:05am at Brighton Homes Arena.
