AFLW INDIGENOUS ROUND
Held across both rounds seven and eight, the AFLW will recognise and celebrate the contribution of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island women and girls to Australian Rules football and the broader community.
All 18 clubs will wear unique jumpers as part of the celebrations, with the GIANTS to wear their special ‘Ngurra’ jumper this weekend when they host the Blues at Henson Park.

The GIANTS will also be hosting a live Smoking Ceremony and Welcome to Country prior to the start of Saturday’s match.
MEMBERSHIP AND TICKETING
GIANTS AFLW members get access to all 10 home and away games in the 2023 AFLW season.
Download the GIANTS app and select 'My Tickets' in the menu at the bottom of your screen! Then select ‘AFLW Rd8: GIANTS v Carlton’ and from there you'll be able to save your ticket to your wallet.

FAN ZONE
There’s so much fun to be had in the GIANTS Fan Zone on Saturday as we celebrate footy in Sydney’s inner west!
There’ll be GIANT inflatables, face painting, food trucks, plus FREE noodle samples from Nongshim Noodle truck.
Keep an eye out for our mascots as they’ll be roaming the Fan Zone with loads of giveaways.

We encourage you to arrive by public transport as parking is limited.
The nearest train stations are Petersham, Marrickville and Sydenham, each are a 15-20 minute walk to Henson Park.

The 2023 AFLW x Cotton On range is now here and can be purchased at the GIANTS Shop at Henson Park this weekend. The merchandise tent will be located inside the main gate, in the GIANTS’ Fan Zone.

The GIANTS’ round eight clash with the Blues will be shown live on Fox Footy and Kayo nationally and on 7Mate in NSW and the ACT from 3pm on Saturday.

KICK A GOAL, PLANT A TREE
Capital Brewing Co has partnered with the GIANTS to launch the third year of their Trees for Tomorrow initiative in partnership with Jindabyne-based environment charity Keep it Cool.
The ‘Kick A Goal, Plant A Tree’ program has Capital Brewing Co working hand in hand with the GIANTS, committing to plant a native tree for every goal kicked by the GIANTS’ AFL and AFLW teams throughout the 2023 season.
