The GIANTS’ clash with the Magpies will be shown live and free on Channel 7 from 7pm as well as live on Fox Footy and Kayo nationally.
PRE-MATCH EVENT AND MARCH TO THE ‘G
The GIANTS’ pre-match event will be held at The Coopers Inn, at 282 Exhibition St, Melbourne, from 3:30pm on Friday. The event will feature food and drink specials, the opportunity to purchase select GIANTS merchandise, Orange Tsunami sign giveaways, face painting, and an orange hair station.
Plus, if you have a ticket to the match, join the ‘Here Come the GIANTS’ march from The Coopers Inn to the MCG from approx. 5:45pm! If you don’t have a ticket, hang around at The Coopers Inn to support the boys with other GIANTS fans.
GETTING THERE
All aboard the GIANTS Express bus!
For those needing a ride to Melbourne to cheer on the team, we’ve got you sorted!
Departing the VAILO Community Centre at 7am on Friday, September 22, the GIANTS Express bus will escort members of the Orange Army to The Coopers Inn (arrive approx 5pm) just in-time for a quick drink before joining in the march to the ‘G.
The bus will then depart the MCG post-game at 11:30pm and arrive back at the VAILO Community Centre at 9:30am on Saturday, September 23.
Cost is $150pp, get in quick to as spots are strictly limited.

OPEN TRAINING SESSIONS
Show your support and come down to open training at the VAILO Community Centre this week to cheer on the players before they head to Melbourne. Training is open to the public at the following times:

10:30am-11:15am - Player meet and greet and signing session from 11:15am approx. and a guard of honour to cheer our players off to Melbourne.
The VAILO Community Centre is located at 1 Olympic Boulevard, Sydney Olympic Park, with entry via the GIANTS Shop or via the side gate to the left of reception. There is no parking available in the club car park. The closest parking is available on Olympic Boulevard or in P3.

KICK A GOAL, PLANT A TREE
Capital Brewing Co has partnered with the GIANTS to launch the third year of their Trees for Tomorrow initiative in partnership with Jindabyne-based environment charity Keep it Cool.
The ‘Kick A Goal, Plant A Tree’ program has Capital Brewing Co working hand in hand with the GIANTS, committing to plant a native Australian tree for every goal kicked by the GIANTS’ AFL and AFLW teams throughout the 2023 season.
