Last Time they Met: The two teams met last season in round nine at GIANTS Stadium. It was the Tigers who held on by eight-points as the GIANTS ran out of time in their fourth quarter comeback. The Tigers did their damage in the opening quarter kicking five of their seven goals. The GIANTS had similar efforts in the fourth, thanks to Staunton (3) and Pease (1) but they were beaten by the siren.

Broadcast: Sunday’s match between the Tigers and GIANTS will be shown live and free on 7Mate in NSW and ACT from 3:00pm. The match will also be shown nationally on Fox Footy, Kayo Sports and via the Official AFLW app.

What it Means for the GIANTS: The GIANTS main focus at this point in the season is consistency and hitting the scoreboard. The GIANTS are yet to secure back-to-back wins this season as their form sways. With finals mathematically possible, the focus is more on the process and executing the new game plan.

Where’s the Opposition At: The Tigers are one of the most in-form teams in the competition. Currently sitting in sixth position, they have won their last six consecutive matches.

Player Watch: Brodee Mowbray – after playing two games in her debut season last season, Mowbray has played every game so far this season. The 20-year-old is starting to find her feet at the AFLW level with the medium forward contributing to the scoreboard in the past two games.
