The GIANTS will once again head to their heartland for the 2019 JLT Community Series. 

The GIANTS will play a game in both Blacktown and Canberra across the two-week pre-season fixture in March next year. 

The GIANTS will take on the Swans at Blacktown International Sportspark for the first Sydney Derby of the season on Saturday, March 2 with the GIANTS’ AFLW team to take on Melbourne at the same venue on the Sunday

The GIANTS will then be in the nation’s capital for the first of five games the club plays there in 2019, with the Crows to fly into Canberra for the Friday night fixture on March 8.

Both Blacktown and Canberra will feature prominently for the GIANTS across their AFL pre-season fixture and NAB AFL Women’s competition with the men’s team playing in both Western Sydney and Canberra and the women’s team playing four home games across three venues locally. 

The full 2019 NAB AFLW fixture was released on Friday with the GIANTS to play home games at Drummoyne Oval, Blacktown International Sportspark (twice) and UNSW Canberra Oval. 

The AFL also released the Opening Round of the 2019 Toyota AFL Premiership Season with Essendon to head to Spotless Stadium for a blockbuster round one clash on Sunday, March 25.

The full AFL fixture will be released on Wednesday, October 31 at 12 noon on
