The GIANTS have made two changes to their side to take on the Adelaide Crows at Adelaide Oval on Saturday afternoon.

Key forward Jesse Hogan returns to the team after being managed last week. The 27-year-old big man has kicked five goals in his four matches so far this season before missing last week’s match off a six-day break.

Saturday’s game will also see the debut of 18-year-old defender Cooper Hamilton.

The Bendigo product smashed the club’s 2km time trial record in his first week at the club and spent the pre-season training against superstar forward Toby Greene.

“Cooper’s been in fantastic form in the VFL,” coach Leon Cameron said.

“He’s a real competitor and will play in the back line. He’s come into the club in last year’s draft and worked really hard.

“It’s exciting to be able to give someone their first game, he thoroughly deserves his debut and no doubt the boys will look forward to running out with him.”

Hamilton and Hogan come in for defender Jake Stein and midfielder Tanner Bruhn, who have been omitted.

Cameron said he is looking forward to Saturday’s clash.

“Every week is a big week for us at the moment but heading to Adelaide to take on the Crows is a challenge we’re really looking forward to,” he said.

“They’re in some great form and we’re excited for Saturday’s match.”

The GIANTS face the Crows at Adelaide Oval at 2:10pm in round seven. The match will be broadcast live on Channel 7 in NSW and the ACT as well as Fox Sports 3 and Kayo nationally.
