Dynamic forward Toby Greene and tough midfielder Jacob Hopper have been recognised for their outstanding seasons with inclusion in the 40-man Therabody All Australian squad.

Greene has been in career best form in 2021 and could add to his 2016 All Australian jacket while Hopper has never previously been selected.

In the absence of Stephen Coniglio for much of the season, Greene has stood up as stand-in captain. He’s kicked 42 goals through 17 games at a career-high average of 2.5 goals a game.

Greene’s ability to take contested marks as well as winning the ball on the ground has seen him prove to be a tough match up for the opposition while the 27-year old has also averaged more score involvements per game than any other player in 2021.

Hopper has taken his game to a new level this year with career high averages in disposals (26.5), clearances (6.6) and inside 50s (4.4).

The 24 year old, who celebrated his 100th game earlier this year with a career-high 41 disposals, ranks seventh across the league for total clearances.

A number of GIANTS were unlucky not to be included in the squad including recently re-signed duo Sam Taylor and Josh Kelly.

Both Greene and Hopper will line up for the GIANTS against the Swans in an elimination final in Launceston this Saturday at 3.20pm.

The Therabody All Australian team will be announced on Thursday night.
