The GIANTS' fixture for rounds 19 and 20 has been released with the club returning to the twilight time slot against Essendon at Marvel Stadium.

It'll be just the second time the GIANTS take to Marvel Stadium in 2021 with the game to get underway at 4.35pm on Saturday, July 24.

The GIANTS escaped with a two point win against Essendon when they last met in round eight.

The GIANTS have a tough few weeks ahead with the Sydney Derby (The Swans sit sixth) leading into the crucial clash against Essendon (11th) before taking on Port Adelaide (fifth).

The match against the Power was scheduled to be played in Canberra however is currently listed as TBC due to the border restrictions impacting New South Wales and the ACT.

A decision on the venue will be made in the coming weeks.

Regardless of the venue, the AFL has announced that the match against Port Adelaide will be played on Sunday, August 1 at 1.10pm.

The GIANTS host Sydney at Ballarat's Mars Stadium in Sydney Derby XXI this Saturday, July 19 at 1.45pm. Sydney Derby XXI between the GIANTS and Swans will be shown nationally via Foxtel and KAYO and will also be available within NSW and the ACT via the Seven Network.
