The GIANTS have included four new names on an extended interchange ahead of Sunday’s huge clash against the Power at Metricon Stadium.

Former co-captain Callan Ward has been named in the squad after pulling out of last week’s match with soreness.

Small forward Zac Langdon has been added after an impressive on-ball performance in the club’s practice game against the Swans last Saturday.

Second-year midfielder Jye Caldwell comes into the squad after a dominant performance during the practice match where he played in the midfield while also kicking three goals.

Ruckman Sam Jacobs has also been included and could line up either alongside or instead of Shane Mumford, who has held the ruck mantle for the past two matches while Jacobs played the opening three games of the season.

The GIANTS have left reigning Kevin Sheedy Medallist Tim Taranto out of the squad with the gun mid a confirmed starter in Saturday’s practice match against Hawthorn at Tom Wills Oval as he returns from a shoulder reconstruction.

The squad will be finalised at 5pm on Friday.
