Australian artist and GIANTS fan, Marvin Priest last night picked up the prestigious APRA award “Urban Work of the Year” for his song “Own This Club”.
Marvin stood alongside other Australian greats such as Gotye (Song of the Year) and Sydney band, Boy and Bear (Breakthrough Songwriter of the Year) to receive the accolade.
On the opening night of SKODA Stadium, May 26, the GIANTS may have been defeated by Essendon, but GIANTS fans were treated to Marvin performing “Own This Club” live in the new stadium.
