The U16 Slater & Gordon GIANTS Academy side has been announced for this Sunday’s clash with the Sydney Swans Academy at Blacktown International Sportspark.
Slater & Gordon GIANTS Academy Manager says it is the ideal chance for players to press their claims for higher representative honors.
“It is a great development opportunity for our young players to play at Blacktown International Sportspark against the best players in the state in their age group. Selection for the U16 NSW/ACT RAMS squad will be made after this game, so it is important that the players stick their hands up for selection,” said Buszard.
“Twenty Five players from across our zone will come in to represent the Slater & Gordon GIANTS Academy in this game and will be coached by former Carlton player and 200 AFL gamer, Ryan Houlihan. We aim to mimic AFL like conditions from preparation to performance and recovery to aid the players in their future development,” Buszard said.
