Forward Georgia Clark will make her GIANTS debut against the Lions in round four of the 2026 NAB AFLW Season.
The former Pie joined the GIANTS in the pre-season, as an Injury Replacement Player following the loss of Scarlett Johnson to an ACL rupture.
A contested marking gun, which has affectionately earned her the nickname ‘G Clunk,’ the mid-sized forward played one game for the Devils’ VFLW side in 2026 before relocating to Sydney to take up a contract with the GIANTS.
Clark has impressed across her pre-season and at scrimmage level and adds another leading target to the GIANTS’ multipronged attack, travelling north for Saturday’s match-up with the Lions.
She comes into the side for young gun Kiera Yerbury who is unavailable due to personal reasons.
GIANTS EGM of AFLW, Alison Zell, congratulated Clark on her work rate across a short pre-season and for her quick adaptation to the GIANTS’ identity.
“Georgia has stepped in and made herself an asset to our program very quickly and we’re delighted she will debut for the GIANTS this weekend,” Zell said.
“She’s created this opportunity for herself off the back of some incredible hard work through her time with the Devils and with us here since her arrival.
“She’ll bring her W experience to an important game against Brisbane on Saturday night.”
The GIANTS will take on the Lions on Saturday at the altered time of 6:35pm AEST.
