Key contributors to Adam Kingsley’s side could return for this Saturday’s blockbuster clash with the Cats at ENGIE Stadium.
Phoenix Gothard – who was managed last week – as well as Jayden Laverde (hamstring) are both expected to be available.
Xavier O’Halloran will continue his participation in unrestricted team training, as he nears the end of his rehabilitation from syndesmosis surgery. A decision on his availability to play will be made following Thursday's main training.
Leek Aleer, who was also managed last week for the trip to Canberra will be sidelined for another week, as he continues to manage some groin soreness.
Max Gruzewski will return to running and modified training this week following dislocating his patella in round 16.
Ollie Hannaford and Jake Riccardi will progress in their respective rehabs, advancing to running and conditioning training.
Jack Buckley joins Brent Daniels, Jesse Hogan and Josh Kelly with indefinite returns following a calf injury sustained in training last week. The club is expected to know more in the coming week regarding his return to play timeline.
Meanwhile, the GIANTS will be without Lachie Whitfield this weekend, with the experienced defender sidelined with concussion.
