The GIANTS are excited to unveil their 2026 Indigenous Jumper, titled “Mirrung” - a powerful celebration of belonging, community, and culture, designed by proud Dharug artist Kane Wright.

At the heart of the jumper is the meaning of “Mirrung” - belonging.

The design incorporates symbols representing the club’s key pillars of harmony, health, education, and employment, alongside handprints honouring Elders, seven yarning circles symbolising communities across Dharug Country, and meeting places reflecting the bond between players and the Orange Army.

Born and raised in Western Sydney on Dharug Country, and a graduate of Western Sydney University, Wright drew on his deep connection to both community and club to create a design that reflects unity between the GIANTS, their fans, and the many communities that support them.

Through intricate storytelling and connection to Country, Wright’s artwork captures the journeys, strength, and shared identity of the GIANTS community, ensuring every thread of the jumper carries meaning for generations to come.

The GIANTS will wear the special jumper across both of their games in Sir Doug Nicholls Round, starting with their clash against the Eagles in Perth in round 10 and then in their home clash with the Lions at ENGIE Stadium in round 11.
