After narrowly missing out on last weekend’s compelling win over the Suns, Jack Buckley is set to return for Sunday’s round 24 showdown with the Saints.
The reliable defender has missed the last three games due to a calf strain but is set to return earlier than originally anticipated for this weekend’s season defining game.
Buckley is one of three inclusions in Adam Kingsley’s round 24 squad, with exciting small forward, Brent Daniels and young utility, James Leake also named in the extended side.
If selected, Daniels would return for his first game since round 14, after managing an adductor injury.
Meanwhile, Leake remains on the cusp of a recall following strong form at VFL level.
The trio's inclusion adds a mix of experience, energy, and versatility as the GIANTS prepare for a high-stakes clash that could shape their finals destiny.
The GIANTS will name their final team of 23 on Friday at 5pm.
The GIANTS take on the Saints at ENGIE Stadium this Sunday, with the first bounce at 12:20pm.
