The GIANTS and Aware Super will celebrate the Super Helpful Game this weekend, as the GIANTS take on the Geelong Cats as part of round 18, acknowledging some of the most helpful people in the community.
From teachers to first responders, nurses and community care workers, Aware Super’s member base includes some of the most active, community-minded individuals and the GIANTS are thrilled to celebrate these fans, with more than 250 people working in these professions invited to watch the GIANTS take on the Cats this Saturday.
“We’re thrilled to deliver the Super Helpful Game this weekend alongside our Superannuation Partner Aware Super, recognising and celebrating some of the most impactful members of the GIANTS and wider community,” GIANTS Executive General Manager for Consumer and Marketing, Samantha Blomeley said.
“This match is about celebrating those who are super helpful day in, day out and who dedicate their lives to helping others.
“Our match against the Cats is our opportunity to say thank you for the critical role these individuals play for in the community.”
Aware Super Group Executive for Member Growth, Steven Travis said:
“The Super Helpful Game is about celebrating and giving back to those who make a positive difference by being helpful every single day.
“Many of our members are nurses, teachers, first responders and carers. It’s important to acknowledge the pivotal role they play in helping others in our community and keeping people safe," he said.
"These wonderful people spend their careers helping others, and the Super Helpful Game is an opportunity to remind Australians we’re here for them when and where they need us, providing guidance and advice to help them plan for the retirement they deserve."
The GIANTS and Aware Super would love to see as many fans and members alike from within these industries of education, healthcare, first responders and community carers at the game, as opportunity to celebrate these super helpful people.
The GIANTS will look to cement their spot in the top eight when they meet the fourth-placed Cats at ENGIE Stadium this Saturday, July 12 at 4:15pm.
